2011 Club Events calender

Developed in 1995 by tournament anglers from New England Bassmasters, Team RI Bassmasters became a Federated club in RI. Founders of the club Roy Costa, Alan Jackson and Phil Gebbler are still active members. The model of TRIB was and still to this day is sportsmanship, conservation and above all the love of tournament angling. As a club we have accomplished tasks that would rise above those of other entire state federations, having won the BASS state conservation award for our efforts alone in 2007. Individually our members have earned many top 5 finishes in the RI BASS trail. Three of our members have earned spots on the RI State Team, one acheving the top seed RI’s Mr. Bass. As past Federation President, Roy Costa won the Andrucawits award. Though we compete against each other in club tournaments, as a team we have also won the State Team Championship in 2006. These first 15 years have brought great accomplishments. Currently we are at 12 members and are not accepting new members for the 2011 season, but will gladly accept enthusiastic potential member applications. If you would like to become a member of RIs finest and fastest growing clubs contact us today.

Charlie Shaw has done it again!  Another First, this time the 2010 AOY @ Wequaquet Lake 5 fish with a total of 20.46 lbs including a 6.02 lunker. Clearly a new club single tournament record. Congratulations!!!
